• Original birthname unknown | Goes by Sae | adult | American | Height of about 4'6 | Currently living in Japan
• Having been experimented on as a child she underwent several major changes; The first obvious thing to note is her wings. These grey-black wings are tiny and when stretched to full max barely pass her arms. She is not able to fly with them due to their abnormally small size.
• Her DNA is a weird mixture of human and some sort of bird creature. Overtime her original brown hair and brown eyes slowly began to mutate and change colors resulting in her white hair, red eyes, and gray-black wings. Sae has been too afraid to investigate but she has her suspicions that it's a yokai of some sorts..
• Has bird-like mannerisms mostly stemming from lack of human interaction. Her only companions growing up were avians of all kinds. She can mimic the calls of various bird species perfectly.
• Has selective mutism stemming from childhood trauma. Sae is doing her best to fix this issue but it's not an easy process. She will speak when she feels it's important but communicates with her phone's text-to-speech app function.

MEDICAL INFORMATION: Sae has PTSD. She has the number 01 branded into the back of her neck and heavy scarring around the base of where her wings protrude from (going in a vertical line on either sides of her wings from where they ripped out of the skin) on her back due to improper wound healing.

VISUAL: Sae is incredibly petite in stature, her height having been stunted at a young age due to heavy neglect while she was still living in the laboratory. She is very light-weight though, easy to pick up. Has long white hair and red eyes that she passes off as albinism.

Despite a harsh start in life, Sae grew up to be a kind, well-adjusted individual, thanks to the support she received after escaping to Japan. She’s energetic, impulsive, and always the first to dive into new situations without fear. Always smiling, Sae carries a sunny disposition and chooses to focus on the good in others, even when life proves otherwise. She’s hard to upset and easy to please. so much so that her constant cheerfulness can sometimes be unsettling. However, if she’s ever truly wronged or backed into a corner, her response is sharp and fierce, like a wild animal defending itself.
In the bustling heart of Seoul, South Korea, American couple Sarah and Mark fell in love and married despite family disapproval. Their love was strong, and over the years they returned to Korea often, now with children in tow, as a family tradition, to give thanks to the place where they first met many years ago. On one such trip, they brought their newest joy; a one-month-old baby girl.
Their happiness turned to horror when, in the middle of a crowded street, the infant vanished from her stroller. Despite desperate efforts and police involvement, no trace was found. Officials suspected a professional abduction, but the search eventually ended in heartbreak. Haunted by guilt, the scientist eventually smuggled her out, placing her in the care of smugglers who took her to Japan. Before parting, he gave her one final gift. freedom and a warning: Hide your wings. Trust no one easily. This life is yours now.
