Sae has been too afraid to investigate but she has her suspicions that it's a yokai of some sorts..

• Has bird-like mannerisms mostly stemming from lack of human interaction. Her only companions growing up were avians of all kinds. She can mimic the calls of various bird species perfectly.

• Has selective mutism stemming from childhood trauma. Sae is doing her best to fix this issue but it's not an easy process. She will speak when she feels it's important but communicates with her phone's text-to-speech app function. 

• Has the number 01 branded on the back of her neck, faded over time. Sae rarely ever wears her hair up because of this.
